Altenew Vlog Hop Watercolor Wonders

Hello crafty friends! Thank you for joining me today for the Altenew Vlog Hop! Our theme is Watercolor Wonders. These cards turned out so well!! Check out the video below to see how I made this card.

I started with a top folding card base measured at 4.25 by 5.5 inches. The mat panel used was cut to 4 by 5.25 inches. The embossed light blue panel was cut to 3.5 by 4.75 inches. Here are the steps to make the card:

1. Glue mat panel to white card base.
2. Spritz light blue panel with water and then emboss using Altenew Chequered Diamonds Embossing Folder.
3. Use foam tape to adhere embossed panel to card.
4. Rub antistatic powder over watercolor paper.
5. Use Versamark Embossing Ink to ink flowers from Altenew Craft Your Life: Elegant Motifs stamp set.
6. Pour white embossing powder over clear inked images and heat set.
7. Wet flowers on watercolor paper with paintbrush.
8. Using Altenew Essentials Watercolor half pan set, paint flower. I used the red, pink, yellow, gold, and greens.
9. Allow to dry and die cut flowers.
10. Adhere to card using dimensional foam tape.
